Zip-compression

This option allows to save space on the destination medium (HDD, CD, DVD etc.) and to considerably minimize used storage space and your time online when running, for example, an FTP backup.
Handy Backup lets you choose a compression type as well as a compression level. You can compress your data either to a single file or to multiple files, choose a name for the zip archive and specify its compression level depending on the type of data to be archived. For example, compression of plain text files is effective by 95% and for images by 5%. Handy Backup supports Zip 64 compression format, so there is no zip file size limit.
